Quite honestly, I think this is the only way I can contribute to the community is to work in the healthcare field, volunteer, and be an excellent support to those in need. I Assisted patients with various activities of daily living, including using the toilet, bathing, dressing, preparing food, eating, drinking, and moving around. Followed patient care plan directives as recommended or instructed by nurse. Performed regular homemaking chores, such as doing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, doing laundry, and cleaning patient medical equipment. Ensured safe, healthy, clean, and uplifting patient environment at home. Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor. Collect and record data on patient behavior. Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff.

Hello my name is cinthya i've been a CNA for 4 years now, i have done home care, nursing home, hospice, assisted living and i currently work at memory care facility and its the area i have worked the most and feel more comfortable with with dementia patients, I absolutely love what i do and do it with pride nothing makes me happier to leave a client's house knowing they're all taking care of and made their day better, helping people that can't help themselves is what makes my job worth it, i love spending time and get to know about my patients do what they enjoy to do sometimes it can get hard but we have to always remind ourselves our why and take a deep breath always works

As a personal care assistant I will provide all client with the physical daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing , getting out of bed, standing or exercising. Ensure client received appropriate diet by reviewing their daily restrictions food , allergy and Preferences. Helping client maintain a stable peaceful experience and to build a strong relationship with me as a personal care assistant as always been my Goal . Not too long ago, I started a new case where like so many caregivers have tried to work the case out but, found themselves in bad positions to keep up with the assignment. The patient family even said that was their last tryout for their love one because the patient is TOTAL CARE and very demented. She fights a lot and the patient is very strong. Thx God with my skills, I'm the only caregiver that lasts longer with the patient and I'm still running her assignment. I know what song to play to make her take her meds. I know how to approach her to calm her down and make her listen to me and I know how patient that I gotta be to have her get in the shower for me. She's doing way better than before. It's all joy now in this family's house
