My name is Leslie and I have been an active LPN for the past 52 years. The past 35 years I have been working with geriatrics. This past January 29, 2023, I finally retired from the full time work force. Before I graduated from high school one of my jobs was a companion for an elderly woman in our neighborhood. I was also a candystriper in our local hospital. I have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren whom I can't get enough of! My husband of 34 years had a stroke 3 years ago this November and I am his caregiver.

Hi I'm 23 years old , and I've never thought I would want or love doing a job like this . I had sick family members that I would help take care of so I said I would give it a try and make a job out of it . Since I had this one client she's touched my heart and I loved it every since !!! I've been doing this for a little over 2 years and not sure what else I would want to do until I go back to school. I majored in biological science to be a forensic science technician. I didn't finish because of some family conditions. But until then I hope I can join a family and help take care of clients as best as I can and give them love and companionship that some are missing .

I get along with anyone and everyone. I was attracted to become a caregiver when I was needed to help care for a few family members and I grew to love it. As a long term caregiver, I am not only very loving and genuine, but I believe that entering into a career choice such as caregiving should be something that one is passionate about. I have served with a wide variety of people over the last 15 years. I worked in assited facilities, live-in care, and daily care. I have an extensive history with serving elderly and I love what I do. I am very easy to work with. I go above and beyond for people. I dont mind working long hours to help however I can. I look at caregiving as a lifestyle I would hope someone would give my family or myself when needed someday.
