I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. I enjoy talking to elderly person im taking care of and would like to know them. A personal achievement of mine is my high school graduation.

I like to cook, clean , art, outdoors and travel.

My patience, my listening skills, and my care for the residents, I think makes me a great caregiver! I worked in a kitchen for 12 years at a nursing home and knew I could proved more for the residents then just serving meals and making them coffee, also I took care of my mother the last 6 months of her life and that alone made a huge change in my career path! I enjoy the conversations the residents have with me. I love hearing their life stories about their kids and grandkids! I enjoy waking up knowing that I'm going to make their day or they are going to make mine. I'm a proud mother of two young children!

I'm an extremely empathetic, caring and compassionate person. I am a caretaker by nature and have always felt that doing such work I was born to do. I am an 38 years old black African who's very dedicated, patient, compassionate, attentive, trustworthy person. I had many people in my own family who needed help and assistance. I grew up in an environment that make me to understand what they've been going through and he creates in me the passion and love to aid. Life it's to short and we need to make sure to be there when other needs us. l like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. You take pride in your attention to detail. You don't want a desk job; you like being physical in your job and using your body as well as your brain. There is many achievement in my life but the best one i believe it's putting a smile in my client face.

I am a mom of 2 amazing boys. My youngest is special needs and he has taught me so much about life. My husband and I are truly blessed. I have never officially cared for someone other than family members but I really enjoy doing it. I love to care for people in general. I love to brighten their day. I love to see them smile. I love to watch them grow. And I love the lessons they teach me. I am a person who just can't sit still. I am a go getter and great at multitasking, that is why I prefer to have 2-3 jobs.
