I have 30+ years in home health care with the last 12yrs specializing in spinal cord injury, ventilator, tracheotomy, wound care and hospice. I also have hospital experience, as well as, working with the Alzheimer, dementia, and mentally disabled. Along the way, I also had the pleasure of picking up the ability to learn and communicate with American Sign Language. I am passionate about my career because I love meeting the needs of each client I come in contact with. They teach me about who I am and Why I love my career and able to do what I love to do. I am available Monday through Friday. I prefer 24 hr shifts. Willing to travel up to 2 hours aways for longer shifts.

I have been a caregiver since I was 17 and I just absolutely love what I do! I am currently on my 2nd semester of college, working towards my RN. I love being the person to help your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa when they need it just as much as I love being the person who is just there to keep them company!

I have a nurturing spirit. I became a care giver at a young age. I took care of my god mother at 12 years of age. My career choice stemmed from my relationship with the elderly. I love what I do. My work speaks from its self. I love to help people get back to their best. . I love how I can get to the meanest people and they truly love me. I have client I make special sandwich's to make him happy. So when he doesn't eat the staff let's me know and I can go cook and he will eat. This makes me proud. He doesn't like many but he likes me. I'm proud of that.

I am kind, nice, caring, and get along really well with all my residents I take care of. I love to get to know the people I take care of. It's nice to know you have someone taking care of you whose caring to their needs. This is not just a paycheck to me. Taking care of the elderly is something I'm passionate about and I meet a lot of good clients/patients who become friends to me. I enjoy what I do.

I became a caregiver in 1994, where I began training as a CNA. I love my job as a caregiver. The personal reward of a thankful and satisfied client is more than any money could buy. I am a mature adult female with an aging Grandma and Mother. I myself have 3 adult children. Caregiving is my life, it's my career.

I became a caregiver at the age of 19. I have been employed in nursing home facilities and by individuals (couples). I have cared for my grandparents while they suffered from cardiac issues, dementia, anurisuims, and kidney failure. I have owned and operated a group child care facility while my children were growing up. I have raised three of my own children, a neice, nephew, and two grandchildren. I have worked for over 14 years as our church nursery supervisor. I am fun, energetic, creative, dependable, and resourceful. I have cared for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, ALS, HNPP, heart conditions, incontinence, cancer. I am able to assist with personal needs, (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, medications, housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, errands, appointments, yard work, physical and memory exercises), and most of all provide companionship. I feel it is important for individuals to engage in activities (as they are able). I am very resourceful, creative, reliable and dependable. I am trained empathic listening skills, grief, c-pap, bi-pap, cough assist, feeding tube, basic first aid, adult and child/infant CPR certification. I have a clean driving record. I was a cabin leader for children and adults at the lion bear lake camp in Lapeer MI for the disables and impared .Also am willing to do a background check.
