Following the path of good faith and integrity. As a a teen I was a volunteer at the red cross. I enjoyed that so much I continued to be a caregiver. I have my covid vaccine.

I am a married 58 year old woman with three grown daughter's and 6 grandchildren of my own with a blended family with three grown children and 3 grandchildren. I have had several clients that I have been assisting for over 20 years. I also took care of my mother and father towards the end of their lives. I am a very compassionate caring individual. I enjoy being able to assist people in need. I have a huge heart and a lot of love to share. There are not enough caring compassionate loving people out there to be with our senior adults. I have taken 16 courses and recieved certificates for all to better myself for the best Adult care services possible. I have also taken care of Hospice clients. Housekeeping and food prep are also my specially. I am willing to run errons and doctor appointments.

Caring with Love and compassion will always be my goal in this field. Since I was a little girl I helped take care of my great grandmother. Fast forward to 1990, I knew I wanted to be of help and I made it to CNA school to get Certified! I started w/ Nursing/ Rehab in California and finally moved back to Hawaii to be closer to family. There I started helping out w/ taking care of Family and eventually started working for Agencies. One thing I know w/ having to work both Facilities & Homes, it's both rewarding. Difference is Time & Quality of Care! Facility definitely needing to manage Time/ Quality for each patients. Home Care is best for Patient. Time & Quality of Care is much appreciated both by Patient & Caregiver. I would like to extend my Time to other's in need. It will be a pleasure to be of assistance in this trying time. I became a caregiver because I truely care for the elderly and others who need the extra help. I always aim to achieve a personal connection between myself and the patient by engaging in conversations and making the best of our time together. Hello! I have been a caregiver for the past 5 years. Through advancing my career and lifestyle I have always stuck by and taken opportunities to pick up caregiver shifts. I'm a very compassionate and caring person, a mother of 5. I was raised by my great grandparents who are now elderly, I have helped take care of them since I was in my teenage years. My goal in life has always been to help people, which is why I am pursuing my masters degree in Social Work. I love to help those I care for enjoy activities and assist them in daily necessities as well as encourage them into making positive choices. I am so proud of myself today as I have been able to consistently been a caregiver while pursuing my Bachelor's which I am now graduating in May with, and also while having 3 more children!

I have 30+ years in home health care with the last 12yrs specializing in spinal cord injury, ventilator, tracheotomy, wound care and hospice. I also have hospital experience, as well as, working with the Alzheimer, dementia, and mentally disabled. Along the way, I also had the pleasure of picking up the ability to learn and communicate with American Sign Language. I am passionate about my career because I love meeting the needs of each client I come in contact with. They teach me about who I am and Why I love my career and able to do what I love to do. I am available Monday through Friday. I prefer 24 hr shifts. Willing to travel up to 2 hours aways for longer shifts.

Hello, I go by Lay for simplicity. I have been a caregiver for about 6, almost 7 years now on and off. I was a CNA for about 4 years of that time and then did a little MA and home health in other areas. For the most part, I love giving care and companionship to those in need.
