I consider myself dedicated, fun loving, caring patient,compassionate to the needs of individuals, pleasant toward others and those I care for and come in contact with being a caregiver and a parent the needs of others come first. Knowing what the individual needs and to assist that person to advance them in any learning, speaking, mobility, exercising skills with rehabilitation but still allowing the person to continue to be a great part of their community. I have over 10 years experience. I am current on my CPR first aid, level one medication aide. I have worked in various areas of the health care field. Starting out with working with adults with different abilities, to Dr's office, hospitals, down to end of life care. I absolutely love working in the home setting because it's more personable. Im a very firm believer in treating others the way you want to be treated. With that being said your loved one will be treated as one of my family members. With honesty, dignity, respect and most of all love.

I completed my bachelors in SLP and have become interested in gaining experience with the geriatric population before beginning my externship in the spring. I have always been very fond of the older population since I was very close to and a caregiver for my grandmother as she went through her last years of life in home health care. I look forward to any opportunity to working with this population because I truly connect with them.
