I worked at nursing home in Raleigh while in school through my leadership studies program. I was in charge of the activities program. I also did one on one interactions with Seniors, depending on the need. I really enjoyed getting to know them , listening to their stories as they are wise individuals. When I graduated college I worked in established family business since 1945. I did interior design and helped clients purchasing furniture. Some seniors can be a little stubborn, it takes a while to develop their trust and helping them make decisions. Having patience and not giving up and seeing them come around is very rewarding.
