I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. Looking back at myself as a child, I was always drown to others who had no friends, or were look down upon, like our smart and intelligent neighbor with down syndrome, I found myself standing up for him, even to confront his father who was ashamed of him. And he started to pay attention to his son and later thanks me. Been in my later teen, I didn't realize why he thanked me for until later when I became a caregiver. I remember my mom and dad's words of wisdom. Your character is like your shadow, it never goes away, but you can do better with positive example.
