I am a wonderful caregiver because I have a passion for helping people in anyway I can. I enjoy the hands on care with each individual and continue to find ways to make it a great experience for us both. I became a caregiver when my mother took full responsibility of her great uncle. Being able to care for and understand someone at such a difficult time in their lives is an amazing feeling. One of my goals I've achieved is becoming better educated on the different stages of aging. I am originally from Indiana and have been in the Rio Rancho area for about eight months. New Mexico certainly is as beautiful and exoctic as I had hoped! I still am in awe every time I see the amazing sunsets that are uniquely Albuquerque! I have worked in long term care my entire adult life and am very comfortable working with folks from "The Great Generation." I can either work at a very faced pace multi-tasking with ease; or I can leisurely stroll while listening to stories during care activities- It really just depends on the client and what they prefer. I am very flexible and accommodating.
