What makes me a great caregiver is my innate emphasis on the virtue and value of empathy. I may be physically strong, however my emotional strength is probably even more immense. I am a resilient, courageous, sensitive, compassionate and kind, which attracts me to the work of being a caregiver. What I enjoy most about this work is that it is heart-based and that I get to actually connect with human beings on a true level, additionally those who have already had plenty of life experience. A personal achievement I am proud of is having become a licensed EMT, whether or not I've pursued it as a career. And also that I am knowledgeable and familiar with complex mental health situations. I have a desire to serve, however I believe that my service should come with a true purpose rather than personal gain, so I look forward to helping out those who can use truly use my assistance. I know how to empathize, how to be patient and flexible, how to be passionate about what he or she does. My personal achievements finished HS and was able to be my parents caregiver. Gave me more time especially with my mom and brought us closer. What brought me to this was my mom got sick I was in a trade school two weeks shy of graduating and I decided to care for my mom. I'm willing to learn more if need be. Would like to see the client be happy and well taken care of. Make sure their families are pleased with me
