I have experience working with disability and elderly clients. I've worked for total homecare solutions 5 years. I currently am working for helping hands homecare and visting angels homecare. During my undergraduate career I worked in senior care (5 years), and while my current position is rewarding- I truly miss being a caregiver. Being a caregiver allows you to know individuals on a deep and intimate level while helping them and their families transition during a very challenging time. I personally started caregiving 5 years ago when a very close family member had a stoke. I cared for her until her passing. After caring for her I realized I loved making a difference in someone's life, so I made a career with home health. The laughs and the things that me and clients achieve are irreplaceable to me. I'm very experienced with multiple types of needs such as bed bound, dementia and Alzheimer's, ADLs, recovering patients, transportation, and even just being there for them!
