Hello, my name is Veronica Burke, and I am a mother of 4 wonderful children. I am a preschool teacher since 2002 till now and I love what I do. I love being a preschool teacher because, when my little people come to me begging of the school year with crying, faces, being scared, and nervures and curious at the same time, I couldn't help it but give them all the love, care, and attention that they need because I believe you can't learn in unwanted or unsafe environment. Throughout the months of school, I got to know their strength and weaknesses. By May, they are on their way to kindergarten. The question that I always ask myself is, did I give them the tools they need for this big moment of their lives. My answer is always yes. Before CORVID I was working weekends and some evening's hours taking care of elderlies by assisting them daily activities such as medication reminders, light housekeeping, bathing, assist in toileting and sometimes transportation to appointments or grocery. I do file a report of any accident or up normal event that happened while am on duty. Working with younger children and older adult has been very interesting moment of my life and I love it.

I'm a 19 year old, freshly moved from Columbus, Ohio to Pinnacle, NC. I consider myself a very patient, understanding, and caring person. I've always wanted to be in the health care field, specifically a caregiver. Caregivers take care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something you can be proud of. It's very rewarding. Caregivers and residents also develop special relationships, and I happen to love forming relationships with people i care about deeply.

I'm a compassionate caring and empathetic caregiver, choosing a career as a caregiver was the obvious choice for me because of the love I have for people in general especially those who are undergoing stressful times because of physical or emotional problems, seeing my clients happy because of the exceptional care I provide for them makes me happy as well

I feel as though I am a very patient and compassionate person. When I was in high school, I had the opportunity to spend time with my grandmother when she was in hospice. I think that is what has drawn me so much to care for others. What I enjoy most about caring for others is being able to help people who are simply unable to help themselves. That is such a rewarding feeling for me! I am most proud of myself when I am able to put a smile on someone else's face.
