I am an outgoing person, I am passionate about many things in life. I became a CNA (certified Nurses Assistant) in 2015 after the passing of my mom in 2011. I truly enjoy taking care of others and helping them out in anyway that I can. I love learning about who my client/patient/resident was before and who they are now. Hello my name is Anastasia and I am a mother of two beautiful girls. I became a caretaker shortly before I had my first daughter as more of a means to an end income wide and fell in love with helping people. I have dabbled in a few other professions but have always come back to helping and taking care of others. As a teen I became sick and could not walk for about a year. With a lot of hard work and a dedicated medical team I was able to regain my mobility back which has given me a great insight on how people who need care feel while they are in their time of need. I feel that my experience has given me the patience needed to allow others the right amount of time to grow and heal themselves. One thing I do love about my job and feel the most proud of is the fact that I am very into taking care of the whole individual not just their ailment. So in tern I tend to find little drastic changes that others miss and, with my own experience in mind, I am able to better understand the feelings of those who do not like having the extra help. I believe that everyone has their own story and just because of either an ailment or old age that story does not just end. It its my duty as a caretaker to help that person continue that story and live their best life the best they can. Why else would anyone want to be a caretaker.

I love taking care of people and helping families with their day to day needs with their loved ones. I have over 20 years of experience working in the medical field with both seniors and developmentally challenged individuals in their homes and in care home settings. I have over 5 years of hospice experience and handle each individual with the same love and compassion as I would for one of my family members. Caring for others enriches my life and the ones I'm caring for. I look forward to the smiles everyday and I take pride in the little things that make them feel comfortable while being cared for by someone who's not family.
