I am a mother of four children so I know what it takes for patients and being compassionate, helpful, friendly person. I like being a caregiver because the expressions on the client's face at the end of the day makes me feel good of what I do for them. I enjoy getting to know the client and their family and what they like and what they don't like. I'm proud of the knowledge I have gained working for other job related companies as well as nursing homes and getting the opportunity to further my knowledge.

I've enjoyed being a caregiver for over 15 years now. I started in a nursing home, and then, after my father became ill, I took over all of his care. I have been doing private in home care ever since. It gives me much joy to be able to help others .... whether it be as a caregiver, friend, or great listener to loved ones and their families. In the last 5 years, I've been involved with private in home hospice care.

I currently am an Occupational Therapist Assistant looking for an extra income. I love helping and assisting people. I am a graduate of Penn State Dubois with an Associate degree. I am qualified with transfers, care, and cpr/first aid certified.

Im a good listener. I am kind, caring and patient. I am dependable. I love the elderly. I love it when they talk about growing up, meeting their spouses,maybe went off to war and of course their grandchildren and great grandchildren. I enjoy making a difference in their lives. Raising my children is what im most proud of.

Hello! My name is Heather Dunmire, I have been in the medical field for 8 years now. My first job out of high school was a nurses aide position. I went on to further my education and obtain my CNA license in January 2017. I have a strong passion for wanting to help others and wanting to see them succeed. I have worked in a childcare facility as a shift supervisor before but I always find my way back to my elderly folk, that is where I feel my heart is at and where I feel I do my best work. I love hearing their stories from all throughout their lives, and I absolutely love to see the smiles on their faces. I like to really take the time to find out what their dislikes and likes are, get to know their routine of things, and try to connect with them in a way to make them feel safe and secure. I am cpr, first aid, aed, and Heimlich trained. I am also diabetic trained and medication trained, and insulin trained and I have a customer service certification. Any questions you may have, feel free to ask! Currently in nursing school.

I become a caregiver in order to be in solidarity with those who cannot do by themselves by assisting them with the daily activities such as bathing,grooming,dressing,feeding,mobilityaand transportation. What l like about being a caregiver is that it's a humbling job keeping in mind that what l do for others one day one time it will be done to me .It is an educational job that l have to do for somebody what l would like to be done to me.It is a rewarding job. Personal achievement is that it makes me happy to assist others especially those who cannot do for themselves and it has helped me to consider any person l am assisting as my mother,father,sister and brother. I am a very hard working individual driven with client approach,l am social,honest andccompassionate.
