With a Psychology degree, I am able to communicate effectively with both the client as well as the client's family members. I offer compassion and understanding to each individual's family. I have a strong personality and am able to encourage my clients to allow me to help them with the services that are best for them even when they are reluctant. I am able to help them maintain their dignity and independence while assisting them with their every day tasks. I became a caregiver in 2016 when my company lost it's grants. I evaluated what other avenues were available to me to share my years of counseling experiences. I decided that as a home health care aid, I could help both the client themselves and their families. I enjoy knowing that I have helped a number of people remain in their own homes with dignity and respect.

I am a 44 year old woman who enjoys taking care of people. I have a heart of gold and I thrive when it comes to helping people. I love to cook from scratch and baking what they are aloud to have. I have knowledge on a few different diets. I have a photography business that I started this year and I have been licensed for almost 20 years. I also raise 4 children which my youngest does the same job as me. I am very proud of my children too. I have a husband that has a blood clot in his brainstem and he has mini strokes all the time. I take care of him when that happens too.

I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years and enjoy caring for others and improving their quality of life. I am a Respiratory Therapist and have an Associates degree as a Medical Office Assistant. I also am a volunteer time with my local Volunteer Fire Department as the President, Captain of the K9 Search and Rescue Team as well as a K9 Handler and an EMT. I became interested in being a caregiver when I was a teenager when I took care of my Grandmother and saw the challenges she endured in her life as she aged. I also have a diploma in Canine Obedience trainer and Veterinary Assistance. I feel my greatest achievement is nationally certifying 2 different K9s at 3 levels of trailing to help locate lost and missing people.

Becoming a caregiver for me comes from a deep compassion to help others. Knowing that I can make a difference in someones day just from lending a hand, an ear, or a shoulder is enjoyable for me. I have been a certified nursing assistant for almost 12 years. I have seen and learned alot, I have been present for the best of times, and the worst. I love what I do so much that I went to college and obtained my associates degree in nursing!

8 years as a caregiver

What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Although, I have 2.5 years experience legally working as a caregiver/nurses aide, I have had experience going to work with my mother in my early years of high school. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation. I have a huge heart and am very personable. I would love nothing more than to be your families caregiver.

Hello I'm 24 and been a caregiver for 6 years. I'm a very patient and understanding person. I'm also reliable .i took care of my grandmothers when they were sick so i carried on that and became a caregiver.

I am a very patient, loving/caring individual that wants to help elders around me live their life to the fullest extent. I'm more than happy to help them with whatever task they need and just have deep conversations as well. I have the utmost respect for elders and I believe they should be treated amazingly just as if they were your own close family member. They have so much to teach us. I've always wanted to be in the nursing field and finally 6 years ago I became certified and love the profession more and more each day. I also do housekeeping, give baths/showers, run errands, toileting, dressing, etc. I love the outdoors as well. Most importantly though is your family member(s) will be in great hands if you decide to have me work for you.
