When given a chance, my reputation will speaks for itself because l'm *compassionate, *reliable, *attentive to detail, *excellent written & oral communications *dependable, *works well under pressure, *flexible, * time, management, *self-discipline, and a *team player. I find it necessary to work as a caregiver because the rewards are immeasurable. I enjoy working with people who appreciate the help of a health care team as the two strives to make the necessary health improvement or to maintain some measure of balanced well roundedness within ones own health care. I am most proud of how my son carries the tourch of compassionate forward in helping others. I am naturally a kind, caring, nurturing, and entertaining individual and that is why I think Nursing works so well for me. I recently completed my Associates of Applied Sciences degree, just one step to getting my BSN. My grandmother has lived with my family my entire life and that's where my nurturing nature started. In college I took care of my aunt 7 days a week until she passed away from ALS, and I loved being the only person she trusted in her most vulnerable hours. This time with her gave me extended experience with patients with very limited mobility or bound to a hospital bed, alternative feeding methods, ventilators, lifts, and plenty of at home physical therapy. I have a leader personality and good time management skills. It's truly a feeling I could never get tired of being called on by someone who absolutely needs my help, and I would love to be a calming constant for your family too! I'm am a caregiver with 26 years of healthcare experience have worked with all types of patients such as geriatric, pediatric, terminally ill, head injuryand spinal cord, Alzheimer's and dementia, mentally challenged, and behavior patients.
I believe I am a great caregiver because I take care of my patients as if they were my own family member. I give them the up most respect. I do all I can to make the quality of life the best it can be.
I became a care giver because it's my nature a gift from God to take care of others. I have always done it even from a little girl. I love what I do.
I like being a caregiver because I love making sure I can put a smile on my patients face that's doing through a though time. I make sure they are ok best I can in every area of being cared for. Making sure they Candis as much for them selves as possible then I step in.
A personal achievement forme is when I have worked rehabilitation with head injury and spinal cord. I have taken care of patients that couldn't do much for themselves such as walk, talk, bath, cook, make bed, feed themselves and more. I have worked hard with my patients and by time of discharge to go home they were able to do all or some of the things for themselves. I enjoy the smiles, hugs, and thank you's. This is my reward.
