Hey my name is Jatisha Odom ! I'm located in the murfreesboro area and willing to travel to smyrna, I've been in the caregiving field since i graduated in 2012 I've always had a passion in helping others , i helped out a lot with kids with disabilities while i was attending high school and it just grew on me . I know this job requires a lot of patiences and tolerance for challenging situations and i just love this type of work i took a four year break because i got pregnant and become a stay at home mom to my beautiful daughter but i was off work for awhile all my certificates expired but i plan to get my first aid and cpr certification back active and at the first of the year i plan to take my CNA classes to get my licenses here soon and add that to my profile I'm just looking for a great placement to pick back up on all of this but I'm very familiar with a lot of stuff as far as taking my clients to there appointments, doing the house needs, bathing, feeding , hospice, Hoyer lift etc. Whatever you name I've pretty much done it all and has dealt with a lot of clients with different disabilities and health problems . I started caring for my Special Needs Granddaughter 25 years ago, which made me look in to Home Health Care. I've been a Live In Caregiver for the last 10 years. I Love my Job and meeting my Sweet Beautiful Clients.

I've worked as a caregiver for 13 years. My clients become family. I'm here to help care for my clients physically, mentally, or just be your companionship when you need a friend. I help with cooking, housekeeping, and laundry as well, as well as many other tasks to help out.

I'm a very patient, compassionate, and dependable person. I naturally pay attention to detail and I'm very observant, which helps me notice when someone may not be feeling their best or needs extra help. I also believe in treating every client with dignity and respect. Being calm, understanding, and reliable helps build trust with the people I care for. I've always had a heart for helping people. Being a caregiver allows me to make a real difference in someone's everyday life, whether that's helping with daily tasks, providing companionship, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I'm also currently pursuing a path in healthcare, so caregiving allows me to gain meaningful experience while doing something that truly matters. The thing I enjoy most is building relationships with the people I care for. It's rewarding to know that your presence can make someone feel supported, comfortable, and less alone. Even small things like helping someone have a better day or seeing them smile can make the work very meaningful. One achievement I'm proud of is pursuing my education in healthcare and working toward becoming a nurse.
