I'm a spiritual, very compassionate, and empathetic caregiver. I like to pay attention to detail. I believe in schedule but understand when it can't be kept. My helping my great grandmother when I was a child has paved the way of caregiving for me. I enjoy meeting people and learning from them. I'm a giver and helping others is what I do. Knowing that I am making a difference in someone else's well being for the better. Is self fulfilling. Knowing that I have left a positive mark on others lives. Is something I'm very proud of. That at the end of the day I have shared my love to others is a truly great feeling.

I have spent 27 years as a caregiver. I am a special education teacher and have taught/taken care of infants, preschoolers, K-12 and most recently my elderly father who was very frail with Dementia. I took him out of a full time care facility in CA to have him live with us on our farm here in KY. His favorite thing to do was to help feed the animals or socialize our animal babies. I thrive when taking care of others and I absolutely loved taking care of my dad, even though he wasn't necessarily the same dad that I knew growing up. He was very vulnerable and self conscious about his difficulties and I did everything I could to make him feel like we needed him here to help on the farm.

Hello, I've been a caregiver for about 10 years now. I love what I do, I've worked with clients who were mentally ill & physically ill. Young adults to elderly even children. I don't mind helping out around the house or running errands for you.

I truly believe I was put on this earth to take care of people. I'm very caring and devoted person. There is nothing else I rather be doing.

I love to help people in general, especially the elderly and disabled. I enjoy gearing there amazing stories of there past when they was younger. My best achievement so far would have to be sticking with the same job for so long. Most CNA's get tired of it after a few years, but not me!

I have been a cna for 16 years .I have mostly worked in nursing homes and did some home health ...I love doing this type work and meeting different people and family's....to me this is more than just a job its about working together and understand ing each patients needs are different each person has different personality .....in this job I have learned to cope and change to different situations depending on the patients..

One of my strongest personality traits as a caregiver is the ability to listen and help when a patient is feeling in distress or overwhelmed and just help calm them down and find a compromising solution that helps everyone Attracted me to being a caregiver was I grew up with a brother that was special needs and I really did not like the way that his caregiver treated him so I wanted to make sure that other people were treated fairly and help as much as I could Enjoy being a caregiver is being able to give my patience the best quality life I can give them and just remind them that they are human and they deserve to be treated as such My personal was a client who refused to go out into the community wear short sleeves or shorts even in 90deg weather and was just a total shut in and after working with him for about a year, we got him to go to the pool in the summer in a swim shirt short and he socialized the whole day
