Hello, I'm Rachel, I have a love for the elderly! I have been a caregiver for ten years. I'm very energetic and out going!

I've worked as a caregiver since I was 16 at first with my own family then with home health companies, living facilities, psych wards, hospitals. I have extensive experience with children and geriatrics.

I love giving the opportunity to give back . In the future I want to go to school for the medical field . Finishing high school

Was a (HCA -Home Care Aide) with the state of Ca. Moved back to Murfreesboro. I am easy-going. Do not take things personal. Safety and observant caregiving is my first priority. Experience in ADL care, Dementia , Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, OT and PT exercise, and diabetes. I have been doing caregiving for 15 yrs. I have been in the healthcare field for 20 years. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver? I have always liked being around the elderly. I volunteered for meals on wheels for four years. And in those four years. I got a one on one experience of the needs of the elderly. I get to help the elderly keep their dignity and there Independence . And stay in their own home where they feel safe.

I'm a very patient, compassionate, and dependable person. I naturally pay attention to detail and I'm very observant, which helps me notice when someone may not be feeling their best or needs extra help. I also believe in treating every client with dignity and respect. Being calm, understanding, and reliable helps build trust with the people I care for. I've always had a heart for helping people. Being a caregiver allows me to make a real difference in someone's everyday life, whether that's helping with daily tasks, providing companionship, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I'm also currently pursuing a path in healthcare, so caregiving allows me to gain meaningful experience while doing something that truly matters. The thing I enjoy most is building relationships with the people I care for. It's rewarding to know that your presence can make someone feel supported, comfortable, and less alone. Even small things like helping someone have a better day or seeing them smile can make the work very meaningful. One achievement I'm proud of is pursuing my education in healthcare and working toward becoming a nurse. It takes discipline and dedication, and I'm proud of myself for staying committed to that goal while continuing to gain experience helping others!

I am very hard working and caregiving has always been something that I've done even when I was a kid I helped my grandmother take care of her mother. What I like the most about this field of work is that you get to help people ones that needs helps, the most enjoyable part about working in homes is the look on their faces when you help the to do something or their learning something for themselves for the first time .

Like working with people and people warm up to me very fast I have a passion for the elderly. What attracted me to Caregiving is when I helped my mom take care of my grandmother it warmed my heart to take care of her and most of all she was home with her family!! What I enjoy most is being there to help someone do the things that they can no longer do on their own.I am proud of myself when I leave my client knowing that I was the best Caregiver that I could be and assuring myself that I made them happy and smile.
