I am compassionate and caring about the wellbeing and overall health of my clients. I have always wanted to help and take care of others. The most enjoyable thing about being a caregiver is the joy that I bring to my clients by taking care of their needs and helping improve their quality of life. A personal achievement I am proud of is going out and making a difference in my clients' lives that are unable to complete their activities of everyday living on their own.

I'm very easy going and nurturing. It's a blessing in itself to be able to be of service to anyone in need. The different personalities and knowing I made this person's day a little easier. The growth and growing of me!

I started out working in the kitchen dishwasher n I saw people taking care of residents in the nursing home n so one day I decided that I wanted to be a care giver taking care of the residents when I started I couldn't do it I cried because I was the type of person didn't like to start something and couldn't finish so I prayed to the Lord and ask him to give me a strong hearth an mind to be a good certified nurses aide n he did and I became one and I been a nurses aide for years then I became a medaide been that for 21 years that's how I got started

I consider myself to be a honest, caring, hardworking and compassionate dedicated to provide the absolute best care. I worked as a Nrn supervisor and loved meeting all my clients and meeting the needs of each client, I am able to easily adapt to any situation and resolve issues. My employment with Elara Caring and Apineywoods Home Health Care gave me the knowledge and skills to cover all aspects of home care.

I'm an 43 year old health care worker I've worked in many health fields I'm currently working in dialysis but I'm studying to go take my CNA BOARD I've always done the work but wasn't certified I love what I do and the change I make in most peoples lives. I do my job with EMPATHY cause without it we all would be nowhere!!! Good willing and with his grace,faith , love and mercy he will allow me to continue to do what I love and that is be a light and helper to someone!!

Being patient is crucial when working with individuals who may have different needs or require extra time and attention. A caregiver should have a genuine desire to help and support others, showing kindness and empathy in their actions. Being flexible and able to adapt to different situations and changing needs is important in caregiving. communication skills help caregivers understand the needs of those they care for. I have a passionate caring heart for others. As a little girl my mom would always ask what I wanted to be when I became older. My answer was always the same replay, I want to become a Nurse so I can help people that are in need of assistance. I enjoy most being a caregiver being able to communicate and talk with clients getting to know them, know their preferences and the dislikes. My personal achievement has been all of my 6+ years getting to meet new faces and care for an even broader community of clients.

I am a retired LVN. I have been married for almost 30 years. I have 6 children all grown. I have been blessed with 6 grandchildren a a new great grandchild. I was a foster parent for several years. I have been retired for 6 years. I enjoy taking care of others and miss that part of my life. I am wanting to do that again.
