I love and I enjoy what I do. For over 20 years I've been a Caregiver. I don't think of what I do is a job, it's a career for me. My attitude and my personality is awesome. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping people out making their day I enjoy putting smiles on their face. Just seeing a smile on there faces. It lets me know I did my job as an caregiver.

I have experience in bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, repositioning, transfers, ADL's, toileting, check and change. I love being able to be of help to others and knowing that i made a difference in someone's life at the end of the day.

My personality traits that I'm naturally a caring person and have compassion for others. I love to help others. What attract me in been a caregiver is my mother who is a retired nurse for over 20 yrs and my grandmother who always helping people in need at her age of 91 she still does her part in the community. In 2010 my grandfather pass away of myeloma I was his caregiver. All this and more attracted me to become a caregiver. Caring for someone is a powerful and intimate relationship that can bring about a strong connection and bond. When caring for someone, it is important to show love, trust, and understanding. I've been a certified caregiver since 2013. I decided to pursue a career in this field due to the fact that I cared for my grandfather. I'm passionate about what I do. I consider myself blessed to have a connection with the elderly. When I was a 14 yrs old had the most amazing bond with the 93 year old mother of our church and I will never forget her. I personally feel responsible for the helpless ; I didn't know I needed a reason why. However, I have realized it's not for everyone.
