After helping my mom takes care of my father with stroke for three years, I developed passion and the desire to help care for people battling with any kind of disease. I enjoyed working as a caregiver because with patience and paying attention to the little details I'm able to make a difference in people's lives.

Ive always felt that taking care of people was my calling. I love every aspect of it, everyone you meet has a different story to tell so why not have a reason to spend time with them and listen to who they are. When it comes to caregiving there isn't one thing that i could say i like more than the other, simply because I cherish every moment. When it comes down to being a caregiver I dont look at it as a job, to me its more of taking care of a family member I've never met before.

To go down the list I am a CNA, med aide, aba clinician, companion, direct support professional and professional pizza lover. I have worked in facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes(youth and adults) , jails, asylums etc. You name it I've done it. My short term goal is to find a stable family or families I can work with ..out of everywhere I worked I truly enjoy working in home care because I feel like I'm actually useful and can bond and create a great professional relationship with he client and family. The thing I enjoy the most is making my clients happy and helping them with their ADL's. I'm an animal lover so if you have any ill love them right away and treat them as if they are my own pets. (I own a dorkie). My personal achievement is to give great caregiving service while also making sure all your needs are met.

I have decided to become a caregiver because I want to assist people who have disabilities and who have physical limitations so that they can have a better and easier life. I am a caring person and I like to help others. I want to have a job where I can make a difference in someone's life and improve the quality of life of those people who need help.
