I consider my self a great care giver not just because I am honest, respectful, dedicated to my work but also the needs and aspirations of my clients are of utmost important to me. I was drawn to care giving after my mum became suddenly blind and I needed to care for her full time. Through my care for my mum, I realized that the only way I can bring back her smile and to work with her to the best potential of being her care giver is to see her as a person first and her disability later. I never let my clients liabilities define who they are. Seeing a person first before their disabilities help bring out their full potential. I love being a caregiver and eventually look forward to becoming a nurse.
