Compassion and ability to understand clients needs focusing on his physical restrictions, mental disorders, age, could be great skills for caregiver and to make him professionally great. Not just job opportunity but is also some details in this career which are relevant to my talents and my skills, that is area where I see myself efficient and useful for that specific population of human beings. Learning process from clients something new how to deal with certain difficult situations when people appeared to be less susceptible by regular community. Ability to be empathetic to elderly clients and communicate with them especially when at the end of life period.

I have been doing caregiving for quiet some time now and I have come to realize working with the elderly is really where I'm most happy working. I get along great with them , I enjoy there company and there wisdom they have and the many stories they share from the past. They all make me want to be a better caregiver everyday. It's been very rewarding and I'm proud of the caregiver I've become. I'm very caring very reliable and I'm laid back, I like to joke around with them , love seeing the smiles on there faces. I enjoy getting them all cleaned up and dressed for the day looking very nice. I also love it when they remember me and thank me for doing a good job . It reminds me why I do what I do. Caregiving is not for the weak. I do it because I can and because I love taking care of these people. They have all held a special place in my heart.
