If I have any kind of developmental disability or I have become aged, weak or sick and need support, what sort of person would I like to take care of me? That is the kind of person I am. I have a lot of compassion and Love to offer. I'm patient and kind; I would do anything to make sure that the person I'm taking care of is comfortable and happy. I will make sure that they never lack what they need from me as their CNA. I believe in following rules and regulations that are laid out for me without any fail. I always admit when I'm wrong and I will always be accountable for it. I'm a caregiver.

I have compassion and empathy for my clientele. I became a caregiver after I came to this country a while ago and I immediately loved it. Hi I'm Ateka, I've been a caregiver for 12 years. Working as a caregiver is very fulfilling as I enjoy seeing my clients happy and healthy. I believe that you should always take care of those who can't help themselves. In my country of Ethiopia I took care of senior citizens. We believe that the elderly should never suffer nor go into Nursing Homes to be alone. My hope is one day all people who need assistance will be able to get the quality care they need and deserve.

Hello, my name is Elisa I am 59 years old My caregiving started in 1995 , as my Mother became ill , I knew she would want a high level of in home care that I would personally be able to provide. As her illness became more advanced , it was important to me that she be able to stay in her home where she would be more comfortable. A few time a week turned into every day, then several hours a day. My Mothers wishes to be at home in her time of need was fulfilled . And it was a blessing and a honor to be there for her. I found myself wanting to give other families the same opportunity my Mother was given. I continued working closely with other families as well as with the IHSS of King Co. from 1995 till 2001.Then in California in Contra Costa Co. From 2002 - 2009 then , I returned back to Washington State where I have continued my work with private families.
