I became a caregiver in 2011 I am CPR certified,I have my Nurse Delegation,Dementia &Alzheimer's, Developmental Disabilities speciality training,Mental Health ,Insulin Delegation i have all my certificates of competition. It is my passion to take care of others it has always been my dream job since I was little I wanted to become a nurse, I enjoy working with the clients of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds and have a demonstrated ability to develop great relationship with them and their families. Moreover, I am trustworthy and responsible person who takes great pleasure in all kinds of caregiving tasks. Besides, I am dedicated to work hard and always accept challenges to produce winning outcomes. Over and above, I am an active team player who is able to work effectively with managers and co-workers. I have been in many setting witch includes an adult family home where I cooked,cleaned,bathed,and did medication administrations along with patient adls with 6 residents to myself for 12 hours a day. Ive also worked at rehabilitation facilities,assisted living as a med tech. My favorite thing about what i do is knowing that i play a special part in someone's life who can no longer take of themselves and i get the privilege to do so and having the trust of it being all in my hands. Im very proud of myself for sticking with being a caregiver and getting all the diffrent trainings i have and experience i have gotten from it.

I having been a police for over 25 years, my career changed suddenly in 2018 after I lost my sister to cancer. I was away when she passed on and when I came back I was told that my sister's health detorriated so much and she had no caregiver to assist her even to get to hospital at times perhaps she would have atleast lived longer if there was someone to assist her. I was disappointed to know this and from that day on I decided to go out and care for those who need help so here I am and I always want to give the best I can.

I am an NAR (soon to be CNA) studying to get my RN. I currently work TH - Sat nights 9pm -7am. Looking to help someone and be there for a client a few hours a week and make a difference.

Hello my name is Faith. Im 27 years old and I have been working in healthcare setting since I was 21. I love taking care of people and interacting and getting to know a person on a level like they are my family. I feel very strongly about providing good care and I have a lot of experience to show it. I'm a great listener I'm very compassionate and take my job to heart. I'm a nurture and that is what lead me to love being a caregiver I love being able to help someone in need. When my client is happy it makes me happy.

I believe I am a grwt caregiver because I have a compassion an patience for people. My grandmother has Parkinson's disease and I always wished I could care for here instead of removing her from Home. But honestly it was best because she not only does likes the place she likes the people gave gotta close to a lot. But I am a outgoing bubbly kind of person an love to work with the elderly I am nurse delegated an have trading in mental health an dementia I have worked with memory care center, assisted living and skilled care.

I am a good listener, detailed and goal oriented , and I am very friendly. I felt the urge of being a caregiver when I took care of my mum when she was ailing until she passed on . I made sure she had the most comfortable time before she passed on. I enjoy making being the change and help that another person may need and I do love filling the gap of assistance with daily life activities for those who are unable to . Being a Nurse assistant is my very long time Dream that I finally achieved and am so proud to be a CNA.

I became a caregiver after growing up in foster care and living with a family where the wife/mother was a neonatal nurse and I went to work with her several times and I became inspired to take care of people

I have been a caregiver for almost 20 years now I have worked in multiple places like nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, in home settings, and even worked for a nursing agency where I traveled around and work two different facilities I even got to work in the prison for a short time. I am compassionate and try to take my time with everybody that I take care of I think of them as family. I have been told that I go above and beyond to make sure that my clients are safe happy and having a good day no matter the case. the thing I enjoy most about being caregiver is the fact that I get to help somebody, make their day brighter, and just give them companionship when sometimes they don't have it. I am about to finish my prerequisites to get into the nursing program I want to eventually get my BSN and be an advocate for both the clients and the workers to make sure everyone is safe they have what they need to do their job appropriately and to be taken care of it accordingly.
