I got started in healthcare at 15 years old. I started by taking care of my mom, as she had mini strokes & had to go to therapy. I would go to therapy with my mom & then help her with therapy at home, then I helped my dad get his stuff ready to go to work every morning. After my daddy left for work I'd take a nap just before going to school. I enjoy being around elderly people, having conversations, helping them with daily tasks & being a companion to them. I've been to school to be a CNA, a Certified Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, Emergency Medical Technician & hopefuly one day finish achieving my RN degree. I'm also a mom of four grown children & I have nine grandbabies. I enjoy taking care of people of all ages. I specialize in caring for people with disabilities & Alzheimers/Dementia disease. I'm happy and have an optimistic outlook. I've been in the healthcare field of caregiver for over 20 years. Ive provided care to individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, cancer, COPD, and various other diagnoses. I also am management for waiver services and ensure quality care of individuals we serve. It gives my heart joy to help people live their best life and bring them joy and integrity.
