I became a caregiver in 1984, I love taking care of people. I have worked various nursing homes and post surgery in a hospital for 6 years. I have worked in home health care with various agencies and also have done private care. People need a loving and caring person to help them through their situations.

I am compassionate, patient, dependable, and a good listener. I understand that every person has different needs, and I try to provide care with kindness and respect. I am also attentive to details and able to stay calm under pressure, which helps me provide safe and quality care to patients. I have always had a desire to help others and make a positive difference in people's lives. I was attracted to caregiving because it allows me to support individuals during times when they need care, encouragement, and compassion the most. What I enjoy most is building relationships with patients and knowing that I can make their day better. Whether it is helping with daily tasks, offering emotional support, or simply making someone smile, I enjoy being able to have a positive impact on their life. I became a caregiver 30 years ago...stayed at night with an elderly lady...93 years old...and very independent...i fell in love with her...spending time with her...assisting her with little things so that she could live in her own home!...from there...i expanded in to Home Health Care for the elderly...assisted living...and for the last eight years...more private care...including hospice care of my mother...all of my jobs with the elderly have been rewarding in so many ways...love to support myself financially by supporting others!

Provided care for my son from birth to age 22, my son required 24 hour care in every aspect I am very patient and compassionate about helping others in any way I can. I feel it's about making some bodies day brighter. I am proud to say I provided the best possible care and compassion for my son while he was with us.
