I became a caregiver to learn & gain experience so that I can care for my own aging loved ones in the future. I found it can be quite rewarding & I also learned alot about what it takes to do this kind of work & how to show compassion & how to deliver care with empathy. I've always had a heart for the elderly. After working in the medical field for five ears, my love for our seniors has only grown. My grandmother and I always did art projects, but lately she hasn't been able to do as much. I took care of her for a while until my mother eventually found a place where she can receive constant care. It was bittersweet as I knew she'd be okay, but it wasn't me taking care of her. Through it all, I feel as though there's no greater thing I can do than to help those who spent so much of their lives to help us.
