I was caregiver for 24years. All those years it's my independence years . I worked at the hospital, state licensed home, private home caregiver. I am extremely dependable and a hard worker. I have 2, 5 years of experience working with Dementia/Alzheimer's and lime disease, 10 years with Parkinson's disease patients in a facility setting (private homes too). I truly believe to be an excellent caregiver you must put the clients needs & feelings first. I strive to make sure all my clients maintain their sense of normalcy and dignity. I have experience with caregiving for clients that are under the age of 10 & over the age of 80. On a personal note: I was my mothers caregiver for the last 2 years of her life. She was on & off of hospice while she battled a liver & lung disease. Currently, I'm a Respite Worker for clients that have a range of health issues. (Downs Syndromes, Deafness, Autism Spectrum Disorder) I have completed my Senior Caregiver training required by the state of California to attain a license as a home care aide. I have also completed several Carelinx education courses & I am open to taking any class my client might request. As a person I am very loving,dependable, carrying,and compassionate about my job and the people I work for. I've been working in this field for 8+ years 2 years with dementia and Alzheimer. I want to make sure my client is happy, satisfied with me and with my job towards the individual; I also can be trusted in anyway, shape, or form. I care alot about what i do because I want to be a good role model toward people around me and toward my kids. I like to make other people smile and enjoy their days with an open mind and positive ,attitude, and thoughts. I also enjoy getting to know other peoples trait in their own and special way cause I know each of us, as human beings are different in every way. What I've accomplished in this work is, I can offer my loving attention towards other people, by making them happy in everyway or so eventhough they are struggling or need people in their lives to lift them up and never give up on everything. I want them to know, there are people out there who care and love about them no matter what the situation is.

I am 24 years old learning how health is important and how we as CNA's can make a difference to patients and loved ones by providing a sense of security to those who may be going through a difficult time. I'm a new CNA, and I'm also a mother and someone's daughter which means that my way of providing care has come naturally. I also care for those who are the most important to me and treat them with love and respect. Soon I'll be working as a CNA and I have pledged to provide care, equality and love in the way which I would want my grandparents to be cared for. For example, being listened to, given warm culture meals and also not feeling like they're alone. I would never want an old human being to feel like no one is listening to them and I also would never want an old person to feel like no one loves them.
