First and foremost I love my job, I love making a difference in people's lives Secondly I'm a mother who took care of two sweet babies by myself, so since the people we support some times need tenderness, I have all the skills to handle them with care and love Thirdly , I'm very calm and patient person, most of the patients we give care for need to be handled patiently especially those with dementia. And some patients are get problems with adjusting to new care givers in their homes, so me being a professional care giver I have the capacity to fit in and make sure they get comfortable with me.

I began my caregiven duties, with my mother back in 2014, she got sick and I began caregiving for her until she died in 2018, I began caregiving for my grandmother who passed away in 2019 it was a very rough ride for me, I learned a lot especially from my grandmother who was an RN before her passing. I knew then I had a heart for the work and I continue to do caregiving. My specialties are working with the Elders. I do have experience working with the hospice patience.

I am a happy, healthy, compassionate, loyal, patient, loving person who found my caregiver calling late in life. I am 66 years old and have been doing this for a little over 12 years and love what I do. I started when a couple different neighbors of mine were ill and didn't have any family to help them. I had my CPR CERT so I said why not and when they were doing better I decided to make this my work. (Experience through: IHSS, CARE.COM, CARELINX & CAMBRIAN HOME CARE) The first client I had was in very bad shape when I met him, diabetes, renal failure, heart failure, living on his own, not keeping up with his meds or taking his insulin properly. I called his Dr. got him on a med schedule and with the right food, TLC and exercise he did quite well. Since then I have had several different clients, one was on hospice and others I took to Dr appts., med Mgmt. , meal prep, errands and companionship. I'm looking now because one of my clients I had been caring for since 2015, unfortunately she passed away early November. I enjoy my work and I work very hard! Thank you so much, Cindy

I started caregiving over ten years ago and found out that helping other people In there time of need and to make them as comfortable as possible was what I wanted to do in life. I'm very responsible, attentive and reliable. You can contact any of my former clients or their families and they will all tell you that I become family. I've worked with Child care, autism , Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer patients, stroke and the elderly. I take them to doctors appointments, physical therapy, grocery store. I do light house keeping. Prepare all meals. Medication reminders. I assist with all bathroom needs.

I love what I do! I love making a difference in someone's life - if I can make them laugh or smile then I've done my job! If I can get my clients out of the house for shopping, appointments or even lunch then I'm helping them help me! I love making new friends & having everlasting friendships with my clients and their families! For the past 3 years I've been a caregiver for my neighbor's dad (he's 97), I was his morning caregiver (he had round the clock caregiving), I fed him breakfast and lunch, took him to church / bingo every Monday, we did his errands during the week and Fridays we did the library.
