I am a fun, loving and easy to get along person with empathy towards my caregiving careers. I love to talk with new people and try to build up positive relationships as possible. I am willing with confident to provide support and safe for any gender on any care they need as possible. I always respect, provide independent and dignity for my client as possible. I always like to be a good listener to client not only to express themselves but I learnt different good deed from them the old fashioned way, and I take it. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences and the knowledge, and wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

1. I became a caregiver through the inspiration of my late mother. She was in a vegetative state for almost 2 yrs. due to massive stroke. Reinvented myself from working in the corporate world (banking) to moving in the healthcare field. It's a different experience where one found joy and accomplishment working with the elderly. Caregiving was something I've wanted to do since I myself didn't have any of my grandparents growing up. They lived in Hawaii & Samoa, so when I started in this field of work, it filled that missing spot of building a relationship w/ the elderly. What I love about caregiving is the fact that I'm able to build a friendship with the elderly. I enjoy long talks w/ them, learning new things about their history and so forth, and making sure they're ok & in good spirits. Not to mention, learning new recipes to cook and introduce my family to a new meal :) I am a mother of 4, and am of a Polynesian descent.
