I began my caregiven duties, with my mother back in 2014, she got sick and I began caregiving for her until she died in 2018, I began caregiving for my grandmother who passed away in 2019 it was a very rough ride for me, I learned a lot especially from my grandmother who was an RN before her passing. I knew then I had a heart for the work and I continue to do caregiving. My specialties are working with the Elders. I do have experience working with the hospice patience.

Since I was a child, I've loved helping other people. I enjoy working with people of all ages and circumstances. What excites me most about this position is the opportunity to help those with disabilities live happier, healthier lives. I think helping other people affects the local community positively, so I'd feel honored to accept such a vital role. I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. I have worked as a care Provider for 15 years with the elderly.I enjoy the work because it is rewarding to me and also challenging,you get out of it what you put into it,you have to love the elderly first of all,you must be very patient and understanding,but most of all it takes alot of compassion.You are dealing with people,who have put into society,who have finally come to a point in their lives where they are in need of our help,to take care of them,and to let them know that they still do make a difference and are very important in society still. We can learn a great deal from these people and make a positive impact in their lives. ,they have alot to teach us with there wisdom and knowledge .And when you are dealing with the elderly,you are dealing with their illness also,and thats whats very important.

What drove me to be a caregiver is when i realized the need to serve and help others. This passion came when I lived with my grandmother who i loved dearly and as she aged i realized she needed care day by day.
