I'm a very caring individual that likes to help the elderly in need. Starting when My dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. I helped my mom with care for him. I saw it through with hospice where he passed at home in 2018. I enjoy the one on one care with the other person, getting to know their needs and Interests makes it a fun and engaged atmosphere to make them as comfortable as possible. I'm glad to say that I've helped the person I care for to engage in more exercise In going up and down the stairs , slowly , but she did it instead of using her chair Lift! She felt better about herself for her ability to work on her knee issues! She did great! I was very pleased that she went up and down the stairs on her own, with my Guidance of course, but she succeeded in applying herself in some good exercise! I'm currently available on Monday , Wednesday, and Friday mornings /afternoons. Hours available between 9-3. Available every other Sunday 9-3.

I'm a patient person. Since I have recovered from a stroke, I'm very aware of what is needed to care for people with disabilities. Building relationships with whoever I am taking care of is a huge benefit to myself as well as a client. I am working on my CNA license. The test is all that needs to be done.
