I am Joshlyn. I have been a private caretaker for several years. I have assisted patients with all aspects of daily care, including dressing/undressing, checking vital signs, bathing, personal hygiene, transferring to and from bed, skin care and various other duties. I have administered oral and IV medication as prescribed by an attending physician on a daily basis. I have maintained records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems, in order to report and discuss observations with family members and physicians. I accompany clients to doctors' offices and on other trips outside the home, providing transportation, assistance and companionship. I maintained sterile fields, application of dressings to a stage 4 decubitus ulcer. I assisted patients with basic activities of daily living, including changing of bed linens, washing laundry, preparing nutritious meals and doing basic housekeeping. My love and passion is in direct patient care (one-on-one). I'm amazing in what I do.

I feel my high level of compassion with a gentle approach makes me a great companion. My attentiveness to balance the needs of my patient and their loved ones with trust and dependability helps with patients physical changes.

I became a caregiver because I can give people the care and support they need to be all they can be. I love helping people, making sure that the life and very existence of someone is better, because I am in there life is very important to me.
