I currently just graduated from college with associates degree in Allied health and nursing. I been doing home health care services for about seven year. I love this field very passionate with it. What inspired me to become a nurse was the fact that I always loved to help people even as a young girl I knew this is what I was going to do. I always care for people the way I would want to be care for. I just love helping people in any way that I can!!

Hi, my name is Michelle. I am a 50 year old mother of 3 and have one grandson that is 10 years old that I adore. I have spent my entire life caring for others, whether it be my family or clients. I feel like God has given me a gift of compassion that spills over in everything that I do. I have always had a passion for helping people. I have been to nursing school, but because of unforeseen circumstances, had to quit one month before graduating. I started working as a caregiver shortly after that about 10 years ago. I have worked for clients with dementia, Parkinson's disease, cancer and just for companionship. I have assisted with all ADL's, bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, medication, ambulatory assistance, doctor appointments, running errands, etc. I love being able to help someone in the stage of life where most feel like they are a burden and useless. I try my best to help them feel independent and useful, as well as have dignity that they may feel they have lost. I always try my best to treat each client as I would my own family. Everyone deserves to feel loved and important. God says to treat everyone as you would want to be treated.

I became a caregiver when my grandmother got sick and I wanted to be able to take care of her. I love everything about being a caregiver. The people I help toke care of their families and now I'm able to help their families take care of them. I love learning new things and hearing great stories about the old days from the patients.When i became a CNA I learned how to stay calm in bad solutions. I'm 36 years old. I have two beautiful daughters ages six and three, and they are my world.
