Hello my name is Sarah. I have been doing home care for 20 yrs . I truly adore helping others. I have worked with many different people in the past 16 yrs. My jobs have consisted of bathing (personal care), meal preparation, transferring client With gait belt, trach care, hospice care, shopping, administering medications, companionship, exercise, cancer care and etc. I am highly experienced in working with people that struggle with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. I became a CNA in July of 2014 after losing my daughter Karleigh to a genetic disease SMA. It's alot like ALS except it's the infant form. I wanted to help people in the same way that the nurses and staff helped my baby girl. I fell in love with the job. I started the pre nursing school in 2016 and am currently going for my RN at Lewis and Clark. Now that I take care of people for a living I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

What makes me a great care giver is the fact I love to help others and caring for my disabled child an my now deceased father has been great experience.i enjoy brightening others days and my goal in every day is to be kind.
