Im 18 years old . Im confident, patient, great with communication. Also problem solving, relationship building, multitasking and have awesome creative skills. Since I was 7 i've helped take care of my grandparents and thats where I found my love of caregiving. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the excitement I can give my clients/residents just by being there for them .

I have been a live-in caregiver since 2012. I started working in a nursing home when I was 17 years old, and in 2012 I wanted to do more for the elderly, so I became a live- in caregiver so my clients could be in the comfort of their own home. Friendship and becoming a part of their family. Keeping my clients safe, and building a personal bond with them.

I'm great talking with others or helping them when they are in need. I love to cook meals and take care of others who need assistance and that's what makes me stand out from a regular caregiver. I care about the elderly, as I took care if my mom for 10 yrs in her home and have worked in the nursing home environment for 13 years and learned so much even though I wasn't a CNA. I enjoy making their life in their home as comfortable and pleasant as possible. I'm am proud I stepped up to become a field supervisor to ensure the care they deserve.

I'm a very outgoing , understanding, social , honest dependable compassionate girl, who loves spending time with people helping them and getting to know them. My mother is a nurse so it's all I know, I would read her text books while she was in school, and she let me go with her to jobs and volunteer so I've done it right out of high school! Impacting their day, I get close with my people and try to do things I know they like and enjoy and let them know that I hear them and care what they have to say, everyone has a story and I wanna hear as many as possible! I rescue reptiles on the side and have been able to help and turn some into companion pets and get to come with me to the places I work before and the residents have seemed to love it, it's cool to take something kinda unordinary and turn it into something positive they can learn about, that's out of their norm and they seem to like it, I've helped quite a few seniors through this line of work, which is funny to me they always tell me how much I help them, cuz in reality they are the ones that help me, and keep me humble and kind, and fulfill a empty part of me I never knew I have!
