I'm originally from Florida and moved to southern IL when I was 10. I have a pet cat and have my own apartment. I love taking trips to different places any chance I get and enjoy experiencing the outdoors.

I am specialize in All Heimers dementia Parkinson's I also deal with paraplegic patients adults I have also taken care of non-adults. My mom was ill for 12 months and I stayed with her every day in the hospital transferring from hospital to hospital and I wanted to do better for our elderly people because I seen the way they treated her and I didn't want someone else's mother or grandmother treated the same way. Giving our patients the companionship and not making them feel lonely. I am proud that I got my GED and it took me a long time but I went back to college and did a year of college to which I'm gonna go back and finish up my masters in cardiac echo grams.

There was one resident in particular that was hard for CNA staff to get along with. She wasn't very friendly at first but I squatted down in front of her, and explained this was the job I chose to do because I love helping people. She could see I was sincere, and warmed up to me knowing she wasn't a burden to me, and I liked helping her. I am in my second semester of school for Respiratory Therapy. I am love being in my yard gardening. My first grandchild will be 1 year old this July 21st. I'm a pretty good cook and a tidy house keeper.
