I got my start into Healthcare in 2011. I obtained my CNA and worked in a nursing facility until 2015 when I made the switch to home health care. I'm very empathetic, bubbly, talkative. I enjoy making my residents smile, I try to brighten everyone's day and be a companion to all. My mom has worked in the Healthcare field since I was little and I also knew I wanted to do the same. I enjoy almost everything about my job. I love fixing all of my ladies hair or helping them pick clothes out and painting their finger nails. I enjoy hearing all of their stories. My name is Margaret and Id like to tell you a little about myself. I've always been the type that enjoys helping others. I found it rewarding for the heart and soul. It really takes someone special to become a caregiver. Someone with a big heart who understands the trials and tribulations of someone who needs help in their daily lives. That can help through the good days and the bad days. At a young age my mother became ill and that's when I started to learn about caregiving. How to talk to someone who's having a hard time accepting help that's needed. How to bath and wash. Bathroom duties. Communication through all the things I do. I find it that talking to a client and really getting to know that person makes a major difference in how to handle their life with them. I'm not here to treat anyone like a dollar sign. I want to help make a difference or help ease the frustration of life as it comes. One of my proudest achievements in my life is finding God. And being a proud mother of two wonderful boys. I have met amazing people on my work as a caregiver. That's my goal in life is to help those that need someone.

I have worked as a hands-on LPN staff nurse for many years in elder care. I enjoy it when I am able to make my patients happy and see their health status well maintained. I am a firm believer in the Lord God almighty and view taking care of others a natural part of my Christian walk.
