Hello everyone, my name is Denise Hines,I am from Cincinnati Ohio, born and raised. One thing that really pushed me into becoming a caregiver was my grandmother. My grandmother took me and my siblings in when we were small children, and as she got older, I felt that I had to return the favor when she was no longer able to do the things that she was able to do before, my loving grandmother is no longer with us anymore, so it's one of my passions to be of help to other individuals who may be a little more assistance rather that's personal care, housekeeping, running errands, companionship care, grocery shopping, medication, reminders, and much more. One of my personal achievements that I'm very proud of would be starting my own non-medical home care agency here in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is something that I'm very passionate about and something that I really enjoy doing.

Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I started giving care at a younger age, taking care of my auntie with a left-sided weakness due to stroke. It was within the family and a non-profit payment job but a rewarding one. I believe giving care is a calling not just a job. I felt a very great joy to be part of her life and assisting her with the rest of my family before her passing. My experience varys from client to client. Most of my clients that I have worked with have some degree of Alzheimer's. I would say that I'm very experienced in that department. My availability as far as scheduling varys. I enjoy working more hours then fewer hours. I like to work over night care the most. I am willing to work any hours of any day or night to help with my clients needs. Also holidays are not a problem either. I have wonderful references and license for my nursing skills.
