I'm a licensed CNA . Before that I was a housewife for 22 years. I have the hugest heart and a lot of medical training to go with it! Just recently lost both of the exceptional 90 year old beautiful women I cared for for the last two years. One of them I was able to move in with and do round the clock care for the last three weeks of her life due to unfortunately her getting Covid. I had the privilege to be with her while she took her last breath since none of her 5 children could not be with her since she was Covid positive. I've had all my Covid Vaccinations and I'm ready to go back to work for either one or two amazing exceptional super seniors!! I find it extremely rewarding to be able to give love and care to people in need.

I would consider myself to be a person who enjoys working with people, love to joke, talk current events, play games, and consider myself a good home maker. I enjoy and find it satisfying to play a small part in people being able to stay in the homes they love. I consider my greatest personal achievement being able to be being a compassionate caring person.

I love to listen and enjoy helping people be able to stay in their own home. I like doing laundry and other light housekeeping duties. I love pets and do not mind running errands like groceries. I had two grandparents that had alzheimer's disease before they passed. I enjoy making that personal connection with the client, so what when they see you come through the door, they are happy to see you. I am proud that I almost have all of my car paid off.

I've been a caregiver for 5 years started off working at rescare where i worked in group homes supportive living sites and day programs. What i loved most about being a caregiver is the fact i'm able to make someone smile everyday knowing that i play apart in someone's day going better makes my day better. I love taking my clients out into the community i love crafts and doing different activities. I also would help prepare my clients meals which i'd say they love i'm a pretty good cook if i may say so myself. I then left rescare after 3 years worked at easterseals at their day program due to covid i had stopped working there. Then worked at Compass residential where i've worked as a caregiver and a supervisor is my current job now. Id say i'm proud of myself for not giving up some days are harder than other but i continue to keep pushing because i jobs love what i do.

I am a very compassionate and caring person. I get along very well with people older than me. I currently work at an assisted living facility and am loved by all of the residents. I enjoy listening to stories of the past. I started out as a medical assistant at an Ob/Gyn office which I worked at for about 10 years until I started a family. I then took over the care of my grandmother when she suffered a stroke and was not able to walk because I did not want her in a facility. I was later employed by a company in Florida to be the care taker of my mother who suffered from COPD until she passed in 2016. My greatest joy is seeing a smile on someones face. The most rewarding thing about being a caregiver is bringing joy to someone for one more day.
