My name is Brittney Brown. I am 37 years old. I have worked with Home Health as well as Caregiver for about 7 years and I love it! I enjoy making my patients day go smoother.

I enjoy being a caregiver because it helps bring peace of mind to the individual and their family members as well. I enjoy knowing that I can bring some joy and normalcy to the individual that may not be capable of doing the basis daily needs.

I have work in a pca and a caregiver for 2 years and I have also started wanting to help other when my dad got where he couldn't do anything he had a stroke and in a wheelchair .

Here's a little about me! I have 10 years of CNA experience, I absolutely love doing what I do and I love meeting new people. I'm very outgoing and would love nothing more than to see your loved one laugh! I always vow to take the very best care of anyone who comes into my life. I obtained my CNA in highschool along with finishing all my other classes, I'm a quick learner. I have lots of experience with Alzheimer's & dementia. I know how it can affect a family and I'm here to help!

I became a caregiver because I like to make a difference and help others. I loved being a nurse aid but I started doing in home caring. I know when I'm in charge of taking care of someone the job really gets done and by someone who truly cares.

Caregivers are all around us. But that doesn't mean they are all great caregivers. When it comes down to what separates the caregivers from the great caregivers there are some marked traits and work habits that stand out. Those who have experienced a great caregiver could make a list of what makes them great and sets them apart from the crowd. Working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, I will let the person they are caring for know that they care about the person and want to do what they can to help them. When you work with someone who needs home care it is important that you are patient and understanding. It helps to sometimes put yourself in the other person's shoes and see what it might be like to ask people for help. A great caregiver is someone that can be counted on to be there. Most people who need home care services are in a vulnerable position. They are inviting someone into their home to be near their valuables. A good caregiver is someone who is trustworthy in this regard, as well as in being trusted to keep the client's information confidential.

I feel as if I am a people person, I enjoy helping others when they feel as if they cannot get any help. I'm very outgoing, funny, and try to make the best of each day. I am a widowed single mother of 2 girls, one is 8, and one is a year old. I have been working in the health care field since I was 18, I am now 29. I plan to peruse my career and eventually become RN.

I believe will be a valuable asset to you and your family because of my inter-personal skills, positive team spirit and a high level of work ethics. I have been involved in several babysitting positions and senior care throughout my walk of life which helped build and shape me to the person I am today. Also, helping with others seems to be natural. If given the opportunity to work with you, I will not let you down.
