Hello, my name is Diva' Wheeler and I'm a certified nursing assistant. I've been in the healthcare field for 8 years and I've loved every minute of it. I enjoy helping others and making their lives better. I enjoy getting to know my patients and making them feel comfortable. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is having the ability to help others. I've managed to get a few things under my belt while being in the healthcare field such as cna, phlebotomy, and an associate degree in applied science health sciences for medical office and billing specialist. I am very passionate and dedicated to my profession and go above and beyond for my patients that's what makes who I am today.

I have been doing Home Health Care for 20+ years. I have taken care of a wide variety of clients right down to family. I feel that since I was taken care of by the state as a child, my way of giving back is to take care of my loved ones. I enjoy seeing the smile on my client's faces when I walk through their door. I am currently going to school as Occupational Therapy Assistant and am looking forward to applying it to great use with clients in the future.

Communication, observation,being patient, cleanliness and organization skills help me be a great caregiver. Growing up taking care of my mother and grandmother after school and on weekends granted me these skills and atracted me into being a caregiver. I enjoy helping people most and letting them know they have someone who cares specially when they have no family . At the age of sixteen I helped a family friend looking after there mother whom had alzheimer's. During that time I found what I was compassionate about and what I wanted to do for a living. I love being a caregiver I love help other's in need. Going back to school and get my Associate Degree. I am a 33 year old woman I have been a caregiver for 17 years now this is my true passion I've walked away from this duty but my heart has brought me back the way i looked at it's not about when we get old at any giving time something can happen to you and if you ever have to depend on someone to care for you don't you want some to care for you with compassion patients understand open mind and a up lifting spirit. I enjoy being a caregiver because I get to spend time with the patients. I'm able to help them feel like themselves. I'm a very positive person and encourage others to be also, no matter the situation. Helping others bring me joy and knowing that I'm help make a difference in someone's life is awesome .

Elderly sitting isn't just a job or career. It's being a care giver, but also being a companion. Being happy and having someone listen to and talk with you is something everyone needs. Family's can't always be there full time, stay overnight at patient's homes or around the clock in a hospital to look out for and assist a love one.
