I've been a caregiver for 10+ years, during my experience all of my clients and their families have been very pleased with my care. I enjoy knowing I have made someone's day better. My Name is Kimberly Baker, I first wanted to become a Caregiver when my grandmother became ill when I was nine years old. I started my career in senior care in 2018 and I had the best times with all of my residents that i would care for. I then started working in behavioral care with children and that was an amazing time in my life but when it couldn't work around my nursing school schedule I then changed jobs to a CNA at Forrest General hospital taking care of all types of patients who need total care and the majority of my patients have became a part of who I am and a big reason of why I am becoming a Nurse.

I am a very calm, generally happy person who enjoys singing while I work. I originally accepted a position as housekeeper at Emeritus of Hattiesburg, but discovered that I had a connection with the residents and really enjoyed working with them, so I transitioned to Care giving. Being able to help someone through a difficult day is very rewarding for me.

I cared for my Mother in my home until she passed, and cared for my husband (bone cancer) until he passed. I have a strong desire to help others when they are ill. I try to make each day a little better for them. I love to see them laugh and enjoy preparing their favorite foods, having conversations and listening to them. I am very active with my family, we ride roller coasters, go on cruises and we have dinner a least once a week. I am blessed to have a large loving family.
