My name is Kristy. I have over 10 years working with Alzheimer's dementia Parkinson and just providing companionship to clients in their home or living facility. I like to live their live through their journey of life. I like to see that smile on their face when they do something that they think they can't do.I started during caregiving when I had to help take care of my grandfather who had Alzheimer's. I have enjoyed it every since. I am a kind person and treat my clients like I would want someone to treat my love one.

I'm a happy person who loves to help other's family that is in need of caring for them and their family members I used to help my grandma with a lot of stuff when I was younger around the house and that's what made me want to be a caregiver and my personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school I have had a lot of bumps in the road but I kept pushing.

I am an outgoing person who love being in act of service. What attracts me to being a caregiver is actually being able to help someone in need. What I enjoy most is seeing people smile by how I'm helping or being helped. My personal achievement is when I was finally able to help a client/patient on my own.

I'm 46 years old. I been married 19 years and have a 18 year old son who just graduated this year. I personally love being a caregiver. I've done it on and off for about 10 years now. I've always liked to help people and have customer service jobs but at the same time I knew I wanted to do more, so one day I was offered to be a caregiver and I accepted it and have loved it since. I was a private caregiver for almost a year and not to long after that I become a private caregiver for another lady for about the same time. I did get out of it for a little bit because when they passed away it was hard on me and I had to find away to deal with it because I knew in my heart it was what I was suppose to do and that's what brought me to Carelinx .
