I am a fun loving individual. I love to help others. I take pride in what I do and tend to others as I would tend to my own family. I have a child with a disability in which I have been the primary caregiver for and it taught me so much time and patience and hands on experience to help others as well. I am a 28 yr old caregiver/medication technician I have been in this field for 7yrs. When I was little I loved making sure my grandmother and great grandmother was okay and I always helped them around the house. I worked at nursing home in Raleigh while in school through my leadership studies program. I was in charge of the activities program. I also did one on one interactions with Seniors, depending on the need. I really enjoyed getting to know them , listening to their stories as they are wise individuals. When I graduated college I worked in established family business since 1945. I did interior design and helped clients purchasing furniture. I preferred working with my senior clients as they were gracious and I enjoyed conversations with them. What I enjoy most is their gratitude and making them smile. Some seniors can be a little stubborn, it takes a while to develop their trust and helping them make decisions. Having patience and not giving up and seeing them come around is very rewarding. I have always been an old soul as I love old music. I love history. Especially 50's music.

My personality trait is that I'm a very genuine person and I love people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to be there for someone's loved one when they can't.
