I am a dedicated wife of 21 years and mom of 3 amazing boys ages 12, 17, 19 my most favorite things to do is spend time with family, camping, fishing, yard work, cleaning and helping others. I have been in the medical field for 27+ years. I worked as a PCA at Lowell general hospital in the ICU for 7 years where I gained a ton of knowledge and I enjoyed it very much, following that I accepted a postion as a practice manager of a primary care physican office which I was employed there for 18.5 years, my family and I relocated and purchased a home in Rindge NH and we love it here. I've been doing home care since 2021 and I absolutely adore helping others, I have a soft spot for elders, and all humans in need of help, being a PCA/HHA gives me great purpose in life and I truly enjoy meeting new clients and being able to provide them with the highest quality care they deserve. Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. I am First Aid, CPR, and MAP Certified. I also have a long list of other certifications I can provide for you. The individuals I work with have serious medical issues such as seizures, hip dysplasia, spinal stenosis and other diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and Autism. I also have experience with Alzheimer's. I assist with all activities of daily life such as showering, toileting, grooming, cooking, feeding, and also having fun! Pretty much anything you need to do to live. Another thing that I really enjoy doing with my individuals is accompanying them to doctors appointments. I am currently a House Manager at a community for adults with special needs, managing all aspects of a home for two residents and two live-in coworkers, including personal care, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, scheduling, and basic home maintenance.
