I'm very cheerful and very caring. I got into healthcare because I love how awarding the work feels. I love knowing what I'm doing actually means something.

I am a quick witted, quirky person that enjoys being a caregiver because it gives me job satisfaction by knowing I did everything I could do in my day to make someone else's day a little more bearable & easing their minds a little. I am proud of my Degree in the Art of SCIENCE (Criminal Justice) but I am also proud of the certifications I have earned in healthcare.

Ever since I was a little girl I have had a knack for caregiving. I have always liked to take care of others and make sure their needs are fulfilled. I have a very warm heart and do believe everyone deserves a companion and someone to help them with their everyday life even if it's a struggle. I am always on time, I'm very reliable and I can always be trusted to complete tasks.

1. What makes me like a great caregiver is that I treat my patient like my own family, I always to my mind that taking my patient is like I'm also taking care of my family 2. I love doing caregiving because it is my passion to take care of them, love them and give them the needs they needed, 3. I enjoyed most being caregiver is that being able to handle the behavior your patient is giving to you and yet you find your self it is very interesting and you still love your patient. It's like loving them with out asking for return to love you back 4. Personal achievement I am proud of is that I was able to stay calm in times of emergency when my patient oxygen sat went down to 52%, when shes having difficulty in breathing, she became cyanotic or become blue and I was doing a back percussion to her, her breathing went back to normal, (Ps. She had most form so I couldn't able to do CPr- that's why back percussion was applied)

Ever since a little girl, I have always had a passion working with the elders. I have been working as a certified nurse assistant for roughly 6. 5 months where I had the amazing opportunity to make a difference. Previously working in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, I have learned many skills and tasks. I have experience with all ADL's; personal care, transferring, ambulatory and many more. I have experience with dementia and Alzheimer's, catheters, feeding tubes I have recently started working as a home health aid. I'm willing to do light house cleaning along with meal preparation. My experience in in home care has been the most rewarding as it allows the senior to remain in their own home. I have very compassionate and I enjoy working with elders

I have been a paralegal for over 25 years. At the time of my aunt's illness, I was unemployed and able to take care of her 24/7. When I worked for Mrs. Margentino, it was on a part time basis. I also lived with and took care of my mother for 30 years, taking her to doctors, administering her medicine, shopping and light housekeeping, and preparing home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner until she passed away in 2015. I also taught adult education coursed part time at an Adult High School for 20 years. This included counseling between parent and their children from time to time.

I've always wanted to work with the elderly since I was a little girl! They need company and need us to be there for them as well.

I thoroughly take pride in assisting others with living their best life while assisting them with living in their own home as long as they possibly can. I am patient, kind, caring and understand that with age comes many complications that sometimes takes a special person to be able to cope with. I enjoy helping others and love to see the smile on their face when they are able to still accomplish small tasks on their own, even though they sometimes need understanding and a helping hand.

I have a strong passion for helping people . It's one of my favorite things I can provide as a human . I absolutely love being around others . I love helping . I have a strong passion for helping the disabled. I want to further my career someday in working with the disabled. I love working in a nursing home setting as well . I love hearing stories from my patients . I love being around them . I think the main thing that attracted me in being a caregiver is I'm a huge people person . I love being around others . I love being able to help someone as much as I can . Something I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is hearing the elders stories . I love hearing their background . I love bringing smiles to their faces . They become almost family to you . Something I am really proud of is helping my aunt open up a program through our church for the disabled. It was one of my biggest achievements . Thats when I fell in love with this career path !

I have offered compassionate, reliable care to those in need for 14 years. I am warm hearted, intelligent, quick thinking, patient, with a diverse and extensive background. I have offered my skills to those afflicted with dementia/ Alzheimer's, brain injuries, ALS, stroke and seniors simply in need of companionship and home assistance.
