I worked for 1. 5 years in a nursing facility as a certified nursing assistant helping our elderly with all aspects of their activities of daily living. I also worked as a mental health therapy aide at the Buffalo psychiatric center for 10 years and took care of my mom the last year of her life. I am very personable and caring. I treat people the way I would like to be treated. I love the Bills and Sabres and like to do crossword puzzles. One of my biggest assets is my ability to put my self into others shoes.

I am 31 years old and have been a CNA since 2010. I also starting doing home care on top of nursing home care and absolutely love it. I love making people smile and helping them with daily task they need assistance with to make their day go a lot easier and happier. I look at my clients as family. I treat them as i would want my family memeber to be treated.

I worked with developmentally disabled individuals for 23 years before going back to school to finish a teaching degree. I am looking at retirement from teaching, this July, and would like to return to caring for people again involving home care situations. I am also looking for available opportunities that I can fulfill at this time. I feel my personal achievement is that in my 40's I went back to school and continued caring for people at a different level, such as student needs. I presently teach first grade. My experience in both employment situations had rewards that only one can experience by participating in both environments. I have been doing hair for almost 40 years. My duties always went beyond doing hair. I also started just caring for my elderly clientele,shopping, companionship and help with showering. I love people! I work at assisted living nursing home. I do hair there but would love to help as a aide as well. My level of experience is hands on, Life and personal experience.
